Nativity LifeLetter
Yes, it is true! This is indeed the second edition of our newsletter and it is out before the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse arrives… but not before Thanksgiving like we had hoped!
A lot of things continue to happen behind the scenes that we hope will help the program be “all that it can be”. One of the things I began to realize as we get listener email is that we have NEW listeners who have not been on board with us from the beginning. I tried to look at our website as a brand new listener and thought, “This needs help!” So, we’re rethinking and redesigning the Our Life in Christ website and our audio archives page to be more helpful to those who are just discovering Our Life in Christ. A huge thanks to Ryan Murphy our newsletter designer and guru for his help with our “archive project”.
It is a daunting task to put a newsletter together when you have a TON of stuff you want to share with people and two more tons of stuff that you have in a file that says “Future Material”. I’m inclined to put it all in this one, but I know I need to keep it from becoming a 60mb download. So here are our offerings for this edition. We hope you enjoy it and find it helpful, enlightening and challenging.
We had hoped to have this done by Thanksgiving, but it looks like we’ve run into December. So, at this Nativity season we wish to express our sincere wishes for a blessed Christmas to all of you and your families. As we meditate on Emmanuel, God come in the flesh in the womb of His Mother Mary, may we also remember St. Paul’s prayers and teaching ministry as a “labor until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:18-20). May we always be aware of the presence of Christ in us through the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father. Amen!
